There's no monsters on the porch you ninny

The title has nothing to do with anything. It is just one of my favorite lines from *Meet The Robinsons* It has to be one of my all time favorite Disney movies. That a big thing because most Disney movies rank in the favorite category. But I would have to say I have a strange collection of favorite movies. *Monty Python And The Holy Grail* is in the top 5. Does that scare anybody?

So the real reason I was here is my little mushroom quilt. I thought it was fun so I was going to show it off. The theme for this months 6" quilt swap is triangles so I have been trying a few things.

I love them both! You pick great fabrics and are very good at combining colors and patterns. I need a lot of work in that area! Want to be my tutor? I think that would be a full time job!

Since I can't quilt, but I can put words together, maybe I should come up with a story about quilting.

Hmmmm.

I wonder if it will be anywhere as nice as your quilts?

OK. Did it. The story is Stitch in Time. Click on my name, and look under Short Stories by MLockridge.

It's like a quilt, but with words.

Heh, heh.

I love that toadstool quilt! I have a thing for anything woodsy--owls, deer, squirrels, toadstools.... I have the greatest shroom fabric that I can't wait to use but other projects always seem to step ahead in line<:0[ If only I could stay up till 2 a.m. like I did when I was in my twenties....

I just saw a monster on my porch, it was a moth, and it was near a slug - so that's 2 monsters.
I'm going to fight Jill to have you as my colour tutor, because I don't know how you do it but you always pick the colours perfectly. And tell our mother - C-O-L-O-U-R-S.

(though spell check tells me otherwise, but this is an i-mac so it's in American speak....)
