Explore and Experiment

*I can never stand still. I must explore and experiment. I am never satisfied with my work. I resent the limitations of my own imagination* -Walt Disney

I feel this way all the time. My problem is I take on to much and I am never satisfied with what I end up with. Maybe I don't give myself enough credit, but still.

So the long check list has shrunk and now I need to make a big trip to the Post Office.

My 2 quilts for the mini quilt swap are done and packaged. I forgot to get a picture of the all by hand one. Oh well.

My Strawberry swap stuff is all packaged up and ready to go.

Today I finished my Doll Quilt 4 swap quilt. Thank goodness.

I am putting the binding on the Booty Swap quilt, so that should be done tomorrow.

I am almost finished with my Fairy Tale swap thing. A few more days and that will also be checked off.

So next it is on to my September mini quilt swap. I was able to pick the theme for September. Owls and Mushrooms it is. And my wonderful partner and I have all kinds of fun things plotted.

I am so happy to have you John.

This is Katy from http://www.imagingermonkey.blogspot.com/ and I having coffee together. We live way to far apart to really have coffee so I thought this was the next best thing. Thank you Katy for being a good friend. Maybe someday we can really share some coffee. I love You!

The quilt turned out great. I've been waiting to see it finished. I didn't realize partners went out I better go check to see who mine is.

Jeez, the deer quilt turned out brilliantly - I love the quilting that looks like a sun in the corner. You're too clever for your own good, you know that?
And the strawberry swap looks amazing too. And there was me thinking you'd got stuck for ideas. Hmm...

one day, we will share coffee. That I can promise you x love you tooxxx

Night shift is wonderful! Dear old Dad is up at 2am, on a night off!

Love the coffee idea. Of course Dad's twisted mind is doing all sorts of things with the concept.

Kind of like my idea for an adult version of Build-a-Bear. I call it Build-a-Buddy. The stuff sold in the store is a little different, though.

Is that better, or worse than Unnatural Acts Elmo? I just couldn't stop with "tickle me."

Ahem. Yeah. The coffee thing is nice.

Night shift. Great idea.
